Founded by Star Trek enthusiasts in the year 1974, Starfleet has become an international fan organization whose members (4000+) are united the world over in their appreciation of Star Trek: The Greatest Human Adventure. Hundreds of chapters worldwide link members into local fandom as well as the International organization.

Representing Starfleet members in Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan; there are currently five ships and four relay stations within this region. The Regional Coordinator is our own CO, Commodore Paul M. Reid.

The Starfleet Marine Corps is a component of Starfleet, the International Star Trek Fan Association Inc. The SFMC is an office under the Commander, Starfleet. Fictionally, the SFMC is part of the Ground Forces that are rarely seen in the episodes but are assumed to be a part of the Naval Fleet of the United Federation of Planets.
